The Macro is a living network of individuals who believe that the integration piece of psychedelic medicine work deserves far more focus, fanfare, and deliberate engagement than it currently receives. Too often, the peak experience itself gets the headline, while the crucial work of translating insight into daily living is left to chance.
Even more than that, we feel that the frameworks devised to facilitate the skillful integration of a “non-ordinary state of consciousness,” can be applied to many other formative moments in a person’s life. Our human existence is filled with profound threshold moments, including career shifts, loss and the ensuing deep grieving process, identity evolutions, shifts in relationship dynamics for better or worse, euphoric triumphs and unexpected personal crises. Unfortunately, we do not always think to treat these moments with the reverence and thoughtful planning they deserve. Integration is not just a post-psychedelic protocol. It is an ongoing posture toward life. It represents a shift from a more impulsive and unsupported state, to a more mindful and strategic mentality.
The Ecosystem: A Mycelial Support Network
To meet this opportunity we have created a mycelial support network of vision-aligned individuals, known in Macro parlance as “Symbionts.” These service providers, celebrants, visionaries, mystics, guides, doctors, and coaches are all endeavoring, through their unique practices, to help those they serve negotiate life’s radical transitions, challenges, and opportunities as more empowered and embodied humans.
The Macro exists to amplify the messaging of our network of high-integrity providers. Through continuous education and open discourse, we promote a grounded, harm-reduction approach to the exploration of human consciousness.

Pieces published here will touch on matters of psychedelic medicine, adventures in psychonautics, popular culture, considerations of consciousness at large, and anything else aligned with the interests of seekers far and wide.
The Macro Website: The Integration Hub: Our primary website provides streamlined access points to verified service providers nested under five main “Nodes.” In Macro parlance, a node is an area of topical focus that encompasses similar fields of inquiry. At present, our five nodes are:

This is the primary “revenue driver” for the Macro, which will hopefully help enable us to dedicate more time to shaping the platform and community.
In-Person & Digital Gathering: Community is essential for wellness. We are actively engineering spaces for connection through integration circles, meetups, panel discussions, concerts, comedy nights, and experiential events in Los Angeles and online. We are always seeking co-collaborators and dreamers to build new ways of connecting in person, on purpose.
Destigmatization Through Ingenuity and Skepticism
At the heart of this venture is an urgent, ongoing need for the destigmatization of mental health conversations. For too long, the journey toward psychological stability and spiritual wholeness has been shrouded in shame, clinical coldness, or societal taboo. Seeking help, exploring alternative modalities, or simply admitting that a life transition has shaken your foundation should be met with solidarity, not judgment. We can find support in communities of integrity.
We have a rare opportunity right now to be inventive in creating new structures and protocols for ourselves. Rather than passively inheriting outdated models of care that treat human complexity as a set of symptoms to be silenced, we can actively build custom frameworks for navigating the full spectrum of human experience.
Building these new frameworks requires an unwavering commitment to critical thinking. At The Macro, we aim to provide a broad array of opinions and modalities, but we do not ask for blind faith in any of them. We believe that skepticism is fundamental to a healthy approach to education and self-discovery. We encourage rigorous questioning of providers, of methods, of traditions, and of our own platform. Asking hard questions is not a barrier to growth; it is the absolute prerequisite for safe, effective exploration.
Reverence, Curiosity, and Play
We want this platform and community, and your experience thereof, to be fun, provocative, and experimental in nature. The journey into self-awareness does not need to be somber at all times. There is immense healing power in play, humor, art, and intellectual provocation.
At the same time, we balance that experimental spirit with reverence. We hope to always be learning about the lineage of wisdom and healing practices, mindful of the weight of the personal transformations undertaken by our community, and inclusive the rich diversity of voices and perspectives required to make an ecosystem like this thrive. No single discipline holds a monopoly on truth. A psychiatrist, a somatic therapist, an artist, and a mystic may look at the exact same human challenge and offer entirely different, equally valid entry points toward resolution for different, unique humans.
By maintaining a face-forward, personality-positioned network, our hope is to foster authentic connections between you and someone who can walk alongside you in the work of bringing about lasting change for yourself, your community, and the world we share.
