Hannah Rooth

I am a songwriter, performer, facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and community builder. I create spaces to slow down and reconnect with our hearts within this culture that wounds them in so many ways. I've spent the last year co-founding a project called “grief oasis,” an intentional community, shared land project, and grief ritual and retreat space in Northern California.

I'm especially interested in the lived practice of emotional vulnerability and how we can build personal and collective power through the truth of who we are, rather than through constructing barriers between ourselves and others. I live for the felt experience of unconditional love, and the reclamation of creative, community-generated ritual in which we enter that silent space together.

I facilitate one-on-one healing sessions, peer support groups, community events (online and offline), and weekend ritual retreats. Come work with me if you long to experience the kind of strength that comes through meeting the places that feel weak.

Reiki Ritual Session
Reiki Ritual Session

These ritual sessions take place online or in person in Laytonville, CA, with some availability in Los Angeles in October ‘26 and January ‘27. Together, we create a space to slow down, tune into what needs attention, and experience a field of support that’s bigger than just us. Sessions can address any difficulty you are experiencing, and often involve processing grief, life transitions, personal power, and/or reclamation of one’s pleasure. We invite Reiki energy to create a space of unconditional love and reverence, where uncomfortable but beloved edges of our human experience can be held and explored.

These 90-minute sessions support a deeper relationship with the heart, greater capacity to move with emotions, and the practice of emotional vulnerability and spiritual connection. My approach is informed by Buddhist and Eastern traditions, animist practices, grief tending, and trauma-informed and somatic perspectives.
