Justin Whedon

Justin Whedon is a systems strategist, designer, technologist, and co-creator of THE MACRO.

For more than 30 years, his work has lived at the intersection of technology, design, strategy, communication, and organizational systems. He is particularly interested in how seemingly separate people, ideas, disciplines, and technologies connect to form larger ecosystems.

At THE MACRO, Justin helps shape the structure behind the network, designing the digital platform, taxonomy, discovery systems, automation, and emerging AI tools that make a complex and diverse collection of people, practices, resources, and ideas easier to explore.

Justin is also the founder of Adventure Acres Foundation, a Colorado nonprofit focused on connecting people with nature, outdoor experiences, conservation, and community.

His work with THE MACRO is driven by a similar curiosity: how do we take a fragmented landscape of people, knowledge, experiences, and emerging practices and create meaningful connections between them?
